  • Summer Formal / Formal Garden / Black Tie Optional

    Ladies please wear formal dresses or gowns (floor length or mid-calf). Light, summery colors are encouraged. Please be mindful of your shoe choice as there is soft grass and cobblestone throughout venue.

    Gentlemen please wear a suit & tie or tuxedo. Summer pastels and light colors are also encouraged for the men, but black or navy are fine too.

    Additional Notes:

    We ask that all guests refrain from wearing white or off-white [white button down shirts worn under suits/tuxedos are fine!]

    Summer temperatures in this part of Carmel Valley can exceed 85 degrees in the afternoon and drop below 60 degrees after dark. Please keep this in mind when selecting your attire.

  • Ceremony | 4:00 - 4:30 PM

    Holman Ranch staff will golf cart guests from the parking lot to the Hacienda. When you arrive, please enjoy a refreshment, sign the welcome book, and find your seats before the ceremony starts at 4:00.

    Cocktail Hour | 4:30 - 5:45 PM

    After Hanna & Holden are officially married, celebratory cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served in the Stone Terrace / Great Room.

    Dinner Reception | 6:00 - 8:00 PM

    When the clock is nearing 6:00pm, please enjoy a stroll through the Hacienda’s inner courtyard where dinner seating arrangements will be displayed. Continue through the building into the Rose Patio, find your table, and enjoy a plated three-course meal. Dinner will be followed by toasts, speeches, and special dances.

    Cake & Dancing | 8:00-10:00 PM

    Guests will transition to the Carriage House lawn for post-dinner espresso martinis and the cake cutting.

    Afterwards, head into the Carriage House to dance and enjoy a special musical surprise. Or, enjoy the sitting areas, cigar lounge, and fire pit for a relaxing end to the night.

  • Holman Ranch is a private property located just past Carmel Valley Village on Holman Road.

    Take a left off Carmel Valley Rd onto Holman Rd. Drive until you reach the stone pillared gates at the entrance to the property.

    Holman Ranch staff will be waiting inside the gates to direct guests to the parking lot. Plan to arrive no later than 3:30 PM to give ample time for parking and transport to the event space.

    Please carpool if possible - parking is limited.

  • All guests who aren’t staying the night on-property, must leave the venue by the end of the wedding at 10:00 pm.

    Not ready to say goodnight just yet? Guests are encouraged to continue celebrating at the Running Iron - a bar located just a few minutes from the venue. Ubers from the venue to the running iron will be available to guests free of charge; pick-ups from parking lot will start at 9:45 PM.

    If you need to leave your vehicle in the guest parking lot overnight, please note - all cars must be retrieved from the parking lot by 11:00 AM on Sunday, July 21st.
